The Trust’s Annual Public Meeting at Conford Village Hall on Wednesday 7th November was very successful with a good turnout. Some lively discussion on aspects of monitoring environmental impacts at varous points on the river and a fascinating talk from Andy Thomas, Conservation Officer with The Wild Trout Trust, covering amongst other things the difference between the fish on the southern Wey to the rest of the river, and the factors which influence these developments.
The meeting this year will again be in November - date to be announced.
The Annual Picnic - Our Annual Fundraising Pimms Party by the River - was on Saturday 6th July

We've had over 1000 children already this year using the Sandbox in a number of visits - NT Dapdune Wharf, Gilbert White's House, and in other school trips. Plus quite a few (rather older 'kids' ) at the Groundswell Agriculture Show attended by 2000 of the farming community over two days at the end of June.
