Walk our Wey
We have been discussing how to revive walks along parts of the river catchment and will be running a short “taster” walk at the end of May. The walk will be on Saturday 28th May, starting in Headley and crossing the fields, then following a section of the river between Standford and Liphook. Anyone who has previously registered an interest in walks will be notified.

Walk in summary…
Parking will be at Headley Village Green, with some ‘shuttle’ transport from the destination at Liphook back to the start.
The route crosses fields from Headley, joining the river at Stanford ford, thence across the Hatch Farm water meadows - plant spotting, history, and aqueduct, and possibly a demonstration of water quality testing.
From there through to Passfield Sluice - more history and some wildlife potential, and a pause by the EA monitoring station.
Through the Waterside estate - we will be able to follow the river rather than the bridleway
From Bramshott Court, we will need to divert to a bit of road walking until we can get back to a pathway which leads towards Allee’s Meadow more history and a review of the invasive issues etc - may test here if not done before - and then through to Radford Park .
From there back to Headley with optional picnic or visits to the Green Man beforehand.
